Chapter 3

So we are a couple weeks into summer and all i can do is think about Jake because we haven't seen each other since school ended because he is in California with his dad. He keeps sending me pictures from Disney land and saying he wishes i was her with him or he was here with me. He would have taken me with but he didn't have enough room to take me with him and his dad said yes other than the fact they didn't have enough room. Our relationship is slowly slipping because of summer break. We don't see each other as much as we used too because his dad lives in boulder so we don't get to see each other. Lately he has been staying with his dad  which means we only see each other over face time. He sends me little cards and teddy bears in the mail but it's not as good as seeing the real him. I have been hanging out with Diego my best friend.


So today Jake is coming back which means i get to see my boyfriend and it turns out he wants to see Diego to. Diego said he couldn't because he had something to do which means Jake doesn't get to see him. I told him that Jake was coming back and that changed everything he said he would be there in a minute.so we all met up at the park in Brighton my mom said she would be there to pick us up later she left me with $100 for food. We used 10 to go see a movie. I let the boys choose and we ended up watching fast and furious 7 which i ended up loving. Jake got to sit in the middle which means he held my hand and put his arm around me for the whole time I feel bad for Diego  because he didn't have a girl friend. After the movie we went to the mall and found my friend Amber. We all brought our money. Amber and I went shopping and Diego and Jake went shopping we all met back at the park at 1:00. When we got there Jake got me a necklace and Diego got Amber earrings

So just an update i would like to say that I am a happy girl friend because today was valentines day and he got me a teddy bear and chocolates. On valentines day i got Remi a card because he was lonely and i'm a good friend. So as I said Jake was a great boy friend other than the fact his mom doesn't know were dating but my mom does and she really likes him but my step dad doesn't like him that much he comes over to do homework because i'm like a personal tutor because he has a hard time keeping up with the class. His mom thinks we are just best friends which i'm kinda sad he didn't tell his mom he says he is waiting for the right time i think he is scared honestly though. Even if he was scared i'm still happy he asked me out really happy. The teddy bear he got me is almost bigger than him he is so amazing. Today we were changing tables and he decided to sit with the girls and that made me so happy he sat with me melody Stephanie amber and Aislyn . He was out numbered but he didn't care as long as he was with me.

We were just informed we were having a valentines dance the day I get my braces removed and Jake promised he wouldn't dance with anyone so I trusted him and said that if he did i would be so sad and he promised. So today i walk into school and see him sitting with his friends and so I walk over there to hug him and he says hi I am also trying to make Remi jealous. All my friends say he has had 3 girl friends since me so i am kinda mad. In other news i'm happy because Jake didn't  dance with any other girls because he promised. The only girl he danced with was everyone because they did a group dance. I had Amber keep an eye on him for me. The only thing she did say was wrong was that Jake was hanging out with Remi which i didn't care because our next dance is the spring dance and I'M going to make Remi jealous. So i asked Remi who he was dating and he said he was dating melody again so i walk up to her and yell at her like what the heck. I thought we both promised not to go back to him. The only thing that was wrong was she seemed completely perplexed. So i explained what happened and she said she kept her promise because he was a jerk.

Although I thought melody was lying it turns out she wasn't so i walked up to Remi and he said he was sorry he lied and that he would make it up but I didn't believe him so I walked away. Before i walked away i told Jake he could stay but he said he won't be friends with someone who lied to his girl friend. So today was the spring dance and of course Remi didn't have a girl friend so my plan was going along as i planned. Jake brought me a a bouquet of flowers that he bought with his own money. So a slow song came on and he grabbed my hand and we danced like a prince and a princess. After that song he hugged me and said he would be right back he had to go to the bathroom. I walked out to go and talk to my friends in the cafeteria and saw him hugging another girl it broke my heart. So i ran back into the GYM and waited for them to play my song which was lips are moving and they did as planed. Jake walked in right as the song started and that's when i confronted him. He said it wasn't what it looked like but i love him so i tried to believe him he said the girl  was his cousin.

After that I didn't think i could that i could trust him so i did some research and found out that the girl was his cousin so i can trust him i can't believe i didn't trust him. I walked up to him and asked him if he wanted to come over after school he said ya. After we got of the bus he grabs my hand and kisses me i was so shocked i fainted and he had to wake me up. after that we were the perfect couple he started holding my hand in school and guess what he told his mom she really likes me.  Remi was becoming even more jealous because when he walked home he saw Jake kiss me. He got duper mad at Jake and then he started yelling at me so i started freaking out because we were getting close to my and i started to get super made so Jake went and got my step dad he fixed it and he really thanked Jake.

In better news my step dad has really warmed up to Jake because he comes over every day now. My mom loves him and she is the only one who knows we kissed my step dad doesn't know and i plan to keep it that way. Today is the last day of school and as a last day gift he got me a new necklace it said you have the key to my heart. The necklace had a key and a heart on it and the heart was engraved with my name and his name. I felt bad because i didn't get him anything because I don't have any money. He told me I didn't have to he loved me for who I was.

                                     Chapter 1

   Everyone thinks school is amazing but not me. it may be fun to be  the popular one but being a smart girl is hard. You only fit in with the group no one wants to fit into. You can't be one of the cool kids because your to smart and the cheerleaders say you can't be in advanced classes and be a cheerleader so that's out of the question. My mom says i just haven't found were i fit in yet and that's OK. The only place i fit in is my  stem and digital media classes. Which are like the best class ever. I didn't fit in well in GYM i'm not the athletic type either or the artsy type I only fit in with the nerds which is cool and all but i wish we had some popularity. My mom just says i haven't figured out my rank in the social poll. I say i will always be a nerd never popular.

I went on with my normal day and passed through my classes until lunch at lunch i sit with all my friends except my best friend she wasn't here the day we picked tables so she got sat somewhere else. At lunch all my friends talk and i sit there and read my books i get  new book every week because i finish them really quickly. my nickname at school is bookworm. I guess the name is OK but honestly i would rather be called dezy. That's what my friends call me.  I have two best friends One is named Amber the other is Aislyn. Amber was the one who got stuck with the boys. I feel bad for her because the boys at my school are disgusting and repulsive. Aislyn went and sat with her other friends.

Today we got to move seats so i sat with my best friend. after lunch i was having a great day until i forgot to buy a ticket and my boy friend got his ticket and then melody (the mean and popular head cheerleader) asked him out and he said yes so i walked up too him and asked him what he was doing. He lied to me and said no i didn't say yes and then went and bragged to his friends that he was going to the Hollywood dance with melody   and that he was gonna dump me. The  only reason i know this is because one of my best friends is a guy named Jacob he tells me everything. so i got prepared to be dumped. at the end of the day he sat with me on the bus and said he was braking up with me and i hit him and then moved up a seat with my friend Stephanie. I asked him why he would do that to me. He answered back because i never liked you anyway i used you to make melody jealous and of course melody was standing there furious. So after i got done talking to my ex melody started yelling at him too after all that happened  melody said she was sorry she was so mean to me and my friends. I accepted her apology and we became friends.

The next day was the Hollywood dance and that meant i was dateless and so was melody we decided to go with a group of friends. We made Remi our ex boyfriend jealous by going and dancing with (random guys) those random guys were really my best friends. but he didn't know that he just thought we had dates to the dance. The guy melody danced with is Diego my second best guy friend. I am dancing with my best guy friend his name is Jacob Jake for short. Remi was jealous because Jake was his best friend. The reason i decided to dance with him is because he offered. I have a secret crush on Jake so this was my dream come true. So you know how i said Remi was jealous he came over and asked to dance with me i had to say yes because it was the nice thing to do. He explained the whole thing why he said yes to melody is because he had heard that I was going out with Jake so I asked him where he heard that Remi said he found that out from all his other friends because i hang out with Jake so much.

Remi thought i was cheating on him with his best friend that's why he said yes to melody. I told him i would never cheat on him because he was the first boy I ever dated. So after that we took our relationship a little  at a time. After a while we had another dance and at that dance he really broke up with me and that almost killed me. I vowed to this day that i would never date again but that didn't last long i ended up going out with Jake he asked me after he found out Remi had dumped me. Jake was really sweet and he really did love me I think. To this day i have vowed to never go back to Remi.
